James ClarkInstructor
James has been playing and working in the outdoors since he learned to walk. The experiences learned along the way have shaped his philosophy to keep things simple and learn to be actively aware of the decisions you make in all aspects of life. While this may not keep you out of trouble at least you are fully aware that trouble could occur and how to appropriately respond. James spent 15 years honing his skills and knowledge as a member of mountain and Swiftwater Rescue teams with both Alberta Parks (Park Ranger), the National Parks (Park Warden) and as a Ski Patrol Director. More recently James’s experience working as a Wildlife and Fisheries biologist in industry brings an alternative view to risk management and assessment to the courses he teaches for RMAM.
